Ann-Marie came through the Hertfordshire Music Service performing with many of the town and county ensembles and then went on to graduate in 2005 with a BA Music with Honours. She then went on to complete a PGCE before returning to Hertfordshire to teach secondary level music. Since leaving teaching Ann-Marie has returned to university to work towards a Masters in Music Performance and is continuing her teaching in the peripatetic sector.

Ann-Marie has worked with a number of London ensembles and currently plays for the Central Band of the Royal British Legion. This has led to performances at many of London's prestigious venues including Buckingham Palace and a performance under the direction of Sir Peter Maxwell Davis.

Ann-Marie’s choice of material varies between mainstream jazz and blues favourites, ballads, pop classics and Rat Pack and Beatles favourites.

A typical performance is for up to 2 hours of music with small amplification for the backing tracks provided.
