Jazz Moves is an exclusive ensemble available only through Entertainments Ltd and brings professional, talented and vibrant musicians to any event throughout England. Perfect as a trio for background dinner jazz, a quartet for an added kick with saxophone or female vocals or the full 5 piece band, we are pleased to include this ensemble within our portfolio. Please listen to the audio samples which are repesentative of the music you will have at your event. The audio samples feature audio from the jazz trio, quartet and full band. Remember, any of the 3 options can play all of the repertoire listed.

Jazz Moves is a collaboration of some of the UK's finest musicians stretching from Cornwall to Yorkshire and, with the arrangements of Matt Richardson Bmus (Hons), we are able to provide a 2-5 piece band throughout the country. The ensemble has a wealth of experience playing at high quality events across the country, at venues such as The Grosvenor House and Hilton Hotels London; Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and Birmingham NEC; The Crown Plaza Manchester and The Royal Berkshire Hotel Surrey; to name just a few. They have had countless appearances at stately homes and country house hotels, for occasions such as corporate events, weddings, parties and birthday celebrations etc., as well as being engaged by the British Military on many events throughout the year.

Jazz Moves are willing to be completely flexible with regard to the ensemble line up, dress code, special requests, sets and performance times etc, in order to meet the requirements of the client exactly and to ensure that the event is a complete success and enjoyed by all.

The Jazz Moves duo or trio (piano and bass plus drums) is perfect, to provide music at a background level, which is clearly audible, yet does not interfere with the lively conversations taking place, between family, friends and colleagues.

With the addition of the saxophone to the rhythm section, the Jazz Moves Quartet has the ability to perform a fully blown jazz gig to any size of audience. You may prefer to have female vocals instead of saxophone for a more sophisticated background performance.

The Jazz Moves Quintet is able to play all of the famous swing standards from Sinatra to Ella Fitzgerald and very much more re-popularised - the 'Rat Pack' repertoire and is suitable for dancing to - a must for any reception requiring a superb band with an extra zing!

A typical performance comprises of 3 x 40 minute or 2 x 60 minute sets. CDs are played during breaks.
