Heatwave – one of the most in-demand function bands of the Midlands and South West – were formed in 2000, and have performed hundreds of live stage shows at some of the most prestigious and exciting venues in England. On 1st December 2006, Heatwave played to 600 people at the Lloyds TSB’s Xmas Party at a concert venue (capacity of 3,500) called The Centaur in Cheltenham.



Heatwave is a group of consummate professionals, whose members have more than four decades of stage experience between them. Between them, the band members have worked with the likes of Gina G, The Weather Girls, Steve Winwood, The Wonderstuff, Lipps Inc, Mott the Hoople, Fairport Convention, Robert Plant, Judas Preist, and Nigel Kennedy. The band has attracted press interest, and its lead singer, Suzy, has appeared on BBC television and radio, and had a single released in America recently.

Heatwave bring energy and verve to the live stage, where every performance is a special occasion. When Heatwave rock a house, they really rock it (at a recent wedding gig, the band did a record seven encores!) Mastering many different genres is the true hallmark of an accomplished and professional band, and Heatwave will rev up your audience with rock and roll, fizz the house with disco and electro pop, and serenade guests with smooth romantic jazz and ballads. Heatwave has the range and repertoire to delight every musical taste.

Heatwave comes with a state of the art PA system, operated by a sound crew, and a full lights show, managed by an experienced lighting technician.

A typical performance is for 1 x 45 minute dinner jazz set followed by up to 2 hours of party music
